Communicare
We are a team of experienced clinicans and educators with a passion for teaching and believe that communication is the root of good practice in any setting that involves working for others, but particularly for those in clinical, leadership or service roles. We feel incredibly lucky to be highly trained in the art of communication. We have learned from some amazing communicators throughout our careers and have a desire to share these skills with others. The word communication is a derivative of "commūnicāre" which is latin for "to share" and hence Communicare Training was born.
Communicare Clinic is now open!
After repeated requests for private psychiatric and neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment, we have now opened the doors to our clinic and are now booking patients in for appointments. The clinic will have the same ethos as our training, with a heavy emphasis on excellent communication and the kindness and compassionate approach that every patient deserves to receive.
Become NeuroAware in 2026
We have a particular interest in supporting neurodiverse people, whether they are colleagues or service users and are excited to be delivering neurodiversity specific training in 2026!
Our founder Dr Michael Evison has a special interest in neurodevelopmental psychiatry and was honoured to deliver a talk at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group's national conference in December 2024.
